Renee Angle's book Kids (forthcoming) was the winner of the 2026 Gatewood Prize from Switchback Books. Other books include WoO (Letter Machine Editions) and the chapbook Lucy Design in the Papal Flea (dancing girl press). Her writing has appeared in the literary journals P-QUEUE, Entropy Magazine, The Rumpus, Western Humanities Review, The Volta, and Diagram, in addition to the anthology I'll Drown My Book: Conceptual Writing by Women (Les Figues Press). Her awards include residencies with the Millay Colony for the Arts and MOCA Tucson AiR program as well as the Bill Desmond Writing Award for her non-fiction. She worked at the University of Arizona Poetry Center for over a decade, curating programs for both adults and youth. She holds an MFA from George Mason University and currently lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland.
